Downloads a zip folder containing materials for the game: PDF instructions, 100 marked ballots, and sheets for tallying and aggregating. This game can be used for training volunteers in the general procedures of the Rocky Mountain Method, though an actual election will have extra details such as more chain-of-custody signoffs. Allow 1-2 hours for playing the game with 100 ballots the first time; people often take 25 minutes to count the first 25 ballots but usually get much faster with the second batch.
Downloads a zip folder with PDF instructions, 20 marked ballots, and small sheets for tallying and aggregating. This is a small, simplified, pocket-sized version of the You Do Count game, made for demonstrating the method in a few minutes. Potential volunteers can try it out to experience how fast and accurate the method is.
Note that ballot choices in the Hand Count Challenge are identified with letters instead of numbers. Numbers probably make more sense for the real thing, but for a quick demonstration, letters keep people from confusing the number of the ballot with the numbers on the ballot.
